Mark Mabwe, the ‘royal model’, is widely regarded as one of the best in the modeling industry of the Matebeleland region. He is now setting his sights on the ultimate prize; the national title of Misters of Zimbabwe. With his chiseled features, captivating smile, and undeniable charm, Mark has been making waves in the modeling industry, leaving a trail of admirers in his wake.

Mark’s journey to the top has been nothing short of remarkable. Having been a product of one of the modeling agencies with its head office in Bulawayo, he became the youngest Zimbabwean to ever hold the title of Mister Africa International Zimbabwe at the age of 21. This achievement not only showcased his physical attributes but also highlighted his confidence, charisma, and leadership qualities.

As a former Headboy of Christian Brothers College, one of the elite schools in Bulawayo, Mark has always demonstrated a natural aptitude for leadership. His experience in this role has undoubtedly prepared him for the demands of competing at a high level, where poise, composure, and strategic thinking are essential.

Mark’s success extends far beyond the realm of pageantry. As one of the prominent models in Bulawayo, he has worked with several big brands, including national brands such as Edgars, a retail giant. He has also had the opportunity to work under CFM modeling agency, where he was mentored by former Mister Zimbabwe, Shadel Noble, who was also a former Mr. Bulawayo.

Mark’s commitment to giving back to his community is also admirable. As Mister Africa International Zimbabwe, he has been involved in various charity work, including a visit to Ngozi Mine in the outskirts of Bulawayo, where he participated in a feeding program and lent a helping hand to those in need.

Mark’s fans have even given him a nickname – “Musafa” – a testament to his charming and charismatic personality. Currently, Mark is one of the favorites to win the Misters of Zimbabwe title, and it’s easy to see why. His impressive physique, charming personality, and proven track record of success make him a formidable contender.

If he wins the title, it will not only be a personal triumph but also a testament to his country’s rich cultural heritage and the talent that Zimbabwe has to offer. The Misters of Zimbabwe pageant is set to take place in March, where Hillary Mandaba will be handing over his title.

When asked what he plans to do if he wins the title, Mark had this to say: “If I win the title of Misters of Zimbabwe, I plan to use my platform to promote education and empowerment among young people in Zimbabwe. I believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth, and I want to inspire and motivate them to pursue their dreams and ambitions.”

Mark’s win would also be a huge honor for Mthwakazi. “If I win the title of Misters of Zimbabwe, it will be a huge honor not just for me, but for the Mthwakazi region and the entire Matebeleland region,” he says. “It will show that our province has talent, beauty, and brains, and that we are capable of competing at the highest level.”

Mark also shared his philosophy on leadership, saying, “I believe that inkosi yi nkosi ngabantu – a king is a king because of the people. As a leader, I recognize that my success is not just about me, but about the people who support me and believe in me.”

A win for Mark would also inspire a new generation of Matebeleland, demonstrating that with hard work, determination, and a passion for one’s craft, anything is possible. It will also highlight the importance of pageantry in promoting cultural exchange, understanding, and unity.
