After four years of dropping singles, Barry Ogee has finally delivered his debut EP, ‘Dreams Never Die’—a seven-track project that blends personal storytelling, social commentary, and an unwavering belief in chasing your goals.

For Barry, this release is more than just music—it’s the result of sleepless nights, setbacks, and a relentless commitment to authenticity.

“It feels like a dream come true. I’ve always loved releasing singles, but this time I had to challenge myself to create a full body of work. The EP’s title isn’t just catchy—it’s personal. If you love what you do, that dream never dies, no matter how long it takes,” Barry explains.

The phrase has been his Instagram bio for four years, a mantra he’s carried from his roots in Mzilikazi—a community steeped in arts and music culture that shaped his creative journey.

Two standout singles, “Weekdays” and “One Decision,” showcase his versatility: one experimenting with UK garage vibes, the other rooted in pure hip hop energy. Across all seven tracks, Barry masterfully balances relatable social themes with intimate reflections.

Despite the pressures of viral trends, Barry has stayed true to his sound.

“Being unique is what makes you stand out. That’s how you create something timeless,” said Berry.

With visuals, performances, and new collaborations on the horizon, Dreams Never Die marks only the beginning. And for up-and-coming artists, Barry’s advice is simple but powerful: “Ignore the noise, stay consistent, and trust the process—your time will come.”
