Bulawayo Chiefs Football Club has announced the transfer of new players, including Brian Muza, who expressed his excitement to join the team.
“I look forward to contributing positively and stepping up to play my part, which I believe will help the team win games,” Muza said.
The club has also signed Clive Rupiya from Green Fuel and Elvis Moyo, strengthening their squad. Melikhaya Ncube has also joined the Chiefs.
In other news, 14-year-old Dwayne Musona has joined the Ninjas as a midfielder. Musona, a former Zimbabwe national under-15 COSAFA captain and under-17 team player, previously played for Majesa Academy.
“Majesa Academy congratulates Dwayne Musona on this fantastic achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and passion for the game have undoubtedly paid off,” the academy said.
Kelly Shiyandindi has also signed with the Ninjas, saying, “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to join the Ninjas family for the 2026 PSL title campaign.”
Meanwhile, Thabo Senong has taken the helm at Highlanders FC, acknowledging the pressure of leading a club that last won the league title two decades ago.
Highlanders won the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League title in 2006 under Methembe Ndlovu, who was 33 at the time. Senong, 45, is the first South African coach in the league.
“I’m looking forward to meeting the players and passionate fans. Lots of work to be done, and I’m eager to learn from everyone involved,” Senong said.
Senong is working with assistant coach Mkhokheli Dube, a former AmaZulu FC striker familiar with Zimbabwean football.
“We’re not playing football in a vacuum; we’re facing strong opponents. We’ll work hard to know our team, opponents, and areas for improvement,” Senong added.
