Rooted in one of the wonders of the world, where the arts sector is finding its new home and tourism is the main priority in the residents’ daily lives. Ronald Mzamba, known as the Prince of the Majestic City of Victoria Falls, is set to represent his hometown and the Matabeleland Province at the inaugural Mister Heritage Zimbabwe, hosted in Harare on the 22nd of December at Harare Showgrounds.

Mzamba, inspired by international models like Future Nyoni and Tino Chinyani, is not new to modeling. He has previously contested in other national pageants such as Mister International Zimbabwe.

He has made a name for himself in the modeling industry by participating in both runway and pageantry.

Currently, during his journey to becoming the first-ever Mister Heritage Zimbabwe, Ronald has initiated his charity community work in a positive direction.

His charity work is inspired by SDG4, also known as Quality Education.

“I’m advocating for SDG4, which emphasizes quality education for all. I believe education is key to success, and I’m seeking individuals, corporate organizations, and other well-wishers to help me provide 1 student with 1 book, 1 pen, 1 pencil, and 1 ruler to give to school children in rural communities,” said Ronald.

He informed My Kasi Magazine that he began his community work with a project introduced in a local school within his province and plans to extend the same project to at least four schools in his province.

“I have started implementing my project in schools like Masuwe Primary School, but I have been doing it on a small scale. My dream is to expand to 4 primary schools in my region. The community has reacted positively because they know their children are beginning their careers at an early stage,” said Mzamba.

Ronald said he is contesting for the title because his beliefs, mission, and vision align with the goals of Mister Heritage Zimbabwe. Working with the brand will be a significant achievement for his community and the country.

“I’m participating in this contest because I believe I share the same values as this organization, rooted in a deep desire to advocate for the needy. I also think our culture is slowly being forgotten, and I want to emphasize the importance of cultural tourism, which contributes to our GDP,” clarified Mzamba.

In an interview with My Kasi Magazine, Ronald indicated that he has faced numerous challenges, with sponsorship being a prominent issue in the male modeling sector. “Preparation has been a bit frustrating due to creatives not keen on partnerships as I prepare for the longest journey of my life,” he said.
