The 29 year old contemporary visual artist and graphic designer from Zimbabwe showcased his work on the 12th of February.
His main works focus in exploring emotion and human experience through abstract and figurative expression. Exhibited his works at the Alliance Francaise Bulawayo.
“My work often explores themes of introspection, silent strength and the unspoken narratives that shape our inner worlds. Through abstract and figurative forms,I blend raw textures, bold colour contrasts and symbolic elements to provoke emotion and thought. I intentionally obscure facial features in many of my works to direct attention to posture,movement and emotion, inviting the viewer to reflect inwardly,” said Mr Dube.
He further said his greatest inspiration dervives from the challenges that he has been facing .
“My greatest inspiration comes from personal challenges and desire to tell stories that inspire healing and transformation.
“Every brush stroke is an echo of my lived experience and other people’s experience.Every piece is an invitation to connect,feel and reflect.
The exhibition unveiled silence,is a personal journey of discovery of Mr Dube’s voice as an artist.
Dube is a runner up of the 2019 Mannequire art challenge and has showcased in China.
