The National Art Gallery in Bulawayo was abuzz with energy and excitement last week Friday as the Bulawayo CREATIVE showcase took center stage. The event, sponsored by the British Council, American Embassy, and other partners, was a resounding success, drawing in a packed crowd of enthusiastic fans.

The lineup of talented artists was impressive, featuring some of Mthwakazi’s finest, including Asaph, MJ Sings, Noluntu J, Brintz, Indigo Saint, Kereng, Kyla Black, Novuyo Seagirl, Leemzy Beats, and Charles Mahlaba. Each act brought their A-game, delivering a night filled with fanfare and nostalgia.

The stage was set with top-notch sound and lights, courtesy of Sound Kulcha, creating an immersive experience for the audience. Dignitaries from the British Council and American Embassy were in attendance, adding to the event’s prestige.

Lady Tshwane kept the crowd entertained as the MC for the night, seamlessly weaving between acts and keeping the energy high. Asaph’s parting remark, “I wish we could go this monthly or even weekly,” perfectly captured the essence of the evening – a testament to the showcase’s success in bringing together Mthwakazi’s creative talents.
