In a resounding endorsement of his leadership and vision, Hon Daniel Molokela MP has been elected to the prestigious International Executive Committee of Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA).

The announcement came at the PGA’s 46th annual conference in Mexico City on March 27, 2026, marking a significant milestone in Molokela’s parliamentary career.

With his term kicking off on April 1, 2026, and running until December 2027, Molokela joins a distinguished network of legislators from over 150 countries championing human rights, democracy, peace, and environmental protection.

“This is a testament to my unwavering commitment to global cooperation and sustainable development,”Hon Molokela affirmed.

This isn’t Molokela’s first foray into global leadership.
In December 2025, he was appointed to the global Board of UNITE Parliamentary Network for Global Health, representing over 25 African countries.

“I’m humbled to serve alongside fellow change-makers, driving health policy reforms and SDGs implementation,” he said.

As a member of PGA’s Executive Committee, Molokela will guide the organisation’s strategic direction, advising its Secretariat and amplifying Zimbabwe’s voice on the global stage.

His dual roles underscore his dedication to bridging borders and fostering a more just, equitable world .

Hon Molokela’s election has sparked excitement across Zimbabwe’s political landscape, with many hailing it as a proud moment for the nation.
